Daily standup meeting notes template

Generate a short template for your daily check-in. It keeps the header slim and focuses on what changed, what is blocked, and what is still open, so the notes take a minute and stay useful.

About this template

How the standup template is put together.

Built for a short check-in

A standup is not a status report. The template drops the agenda, the discussion log, and the distribution line, and keeps only the meeting, date, and attendees in the header.

The default sections are actions, risks and blockers, and open questions. That is the record most teams actually reuse the next morning, and you can toggle any other section on when a day needs it.

Keep the momentum, not a transcript

Standups work when they surface blockers early and assign the next action to a named owner. Each action line already prompts for an owner, the action, a due date, and a status, so nothing is left vague.

Fill it in as people speak, then paste it into your tracker or notes. Because the template is plain and short, it stays readable in any tool you already use to organise the team.
