Convert video to PDF

Select a recording from a meeting, class, or camera and get a document of everything said. Weeve reads the audio track locally and exports the transcript as a PDF. MP4 and WebM are supported.

Compatibility at a glance

Weeve accepts MP4 and WebM video files with up to 60 minutes of decodable audio. The exported PDF holds the transcribed speech rather than the picture, so the visuals stay in the original file.

How it works

Four clear steps from local file to reviewed text.

  1. 01

    Pick the video file

Choose an MP4 or WebM with up to 60 minutes of audio.

  2. 02

    Decode on the page

The browser reads the audio track. Nothing is sent to a server.

  3. 03

    Transcribe the speech

The model writes timed words in one of 25 detected languages.

  4. 04

    Export the document

Review the speakers, then download the transcript as a PDF.

Product details

Practical details for video to pdf.

From footage to a document

Lectures, meetings, interviews, and research sessions are recorded as video but often needed as pages. A transcript PDF turns the spoken half into a record you can read, search, and file.

The document carries timestamps, so a quote in the PDF still points back to its moment in the footage.

What converts and what stays

The speech converts. Frames, slides, and on-screen text stay in the video, because Weeve transcribes only the audio track.

For a presentation, that means the PDF holds what the presenter said, and the deck itself remains the source for the visuals.

Container and codec support

MP4 and WebM are the accepted video containers. In both cases the browser must be able to decode the audio codec inside, which covers common AAC, Opus, and Vorbis tracks.

If a file will not decode, convert a copy to MP4 with AAC audio or extract the audio as MP3 or WAV, then select that instead.

Your recording stays here

Recording bytes, decoded audio, transcript text, and speaker names stay on this page. Speech models download from Weeve’s CDN.

A transcript you can review

Timestamps and speaker labels stay editable before export.

Great. I renamed your speaker label, so the exported notes will use your name.
