Compatibility at a glance

Mixed meeting capture requires Chrome or Edge. Tab audio is the most reliable remote source. Safari and Firefox can record only your microphone. Headphones help prevent echo.

How it works

Record, review, and save without an upload step.

    Choose Both

    Tell participants, confirm consent, then choose Both for your microphone and meeting audio.

  2. 02

    Start the recording

    Click Start recording. Select the meeting source, enable Share audio, and allow microphone access.

  3. 03

    Record and stop

    Recording starts once access is granted. Keep the share active, then click Stop recording when the meeting ends.

  4. 04

    Review and use the result

    Play the combined audio, download it, or continue to transcription.

Practical limits for meeting audio recorder.

Both sides in one file

The Both source mixes your microphone with a supported tab or system track. It captures local and remote voices without adding another participant.

If you stop browser sharing, the system track ends and recording stops rather than silently creating incomplete audio.

Avoid echo and missing audio

Use headphones so meeting sound does not re-enter the microphone. Enable Share audio and check both sources before starting.

Notifications may be included when you share a broad system source. Share only the meeting tab when possible.

Consent comes first

Tell participants and follow the rules that apply to the meeting, workplace, and location. Local processing does not remove consent obligations.

You can transcribe a supported recording up to 60 minutes after the call. The transcriber does not join meetings or fetch cloud files.
