The AI notetaker for Google Meet that stays on your Mac

Weeve records Google Meet calls from the Mac’s own audio. Nothing appears in the call, no Chrome extension, and the transcript and summary are built on your device.

How Weeve works with Google Meet

01

Ask, then record

Tell participants you are recording, then press record. Weeve listens to the Mac itself, so nothing appears in your Meet call and Google Workspace needs no setup.

02

Speak normally

The transcript builds on your Mac while you talk, with speaker labels. Nothing routes through a browser extension or an external server.

03

Finish with the summary written

When the call ends, the summary and action points are already on your device, ready to check and file wherever your notes live.

Weeve or Google’s own meeting notes

Google Meet can take notes with Gemini. The difference is who has to enable it, and where the notes end up.

Weeve

Runs on your Mac, nothing uploaded

No Workspace upgrade or Gemini licence

No admin approval needed

Also covers Zoom, Teams and in-person

Free Starter plan, then €12,99 a month

Take notes for me

Processed by Gemini in Google’s cloud

Needs an eligible Workspace or Google AI plan

An admin must switch it on for the org

Google Meet calls only

Notes saved to the organiser’s Google Drive

Where your Google Meet notes actually live

Google saves the generated notes in the meeting organiser’s Drive and attaches them to the calendar event, which is convenient when Workspace is the approved home for the record and awkward when the conversation was meant to stay with you. Weeve writes the transcript and summary on your Mac instead, so the note belongs to you and moving it into Docs stays a deliberate step rather than an automatic one.
