Compatibility at a glance
Mixed capture requires Chrome or Edge and a shareable source with audio. A web call tab is usually the most reliable source. Safari and Firefox can record only your microphone.
How to do it

Choose Both in the recorder
Tell participants, confirm consent, then choose Both for local and remote voices.

Click Start recording
Allow microphone access when the browser asks.

Select the call source
Choose the video call tab or supported system source. Enable Share audio in the picker.

Record the call
Recording runs once access is granted. Use headphones and keep the call and browser share active.

Stop and review
Click Stop recording. Review the audio, then download it or continue to transcription.

Record the call on this page
Choose Both to combine your microphone with the remote call sound. The browser tool is useful when you need an occasional audio-only recording without a meeting bot.
This page does not connect to the call service. It cannot enable a restricted native feature or download a cloud recording.
Share the call audio
Share only the call tab when possible. This limits unrelated system sounds and keeps the remote source clear.
Check the Share audio option and make a short test. If the remote side is missing, stop and choose a different supported source.

Tell participants and follow the recording and consent rules that apply to your location, organization, and meeting. Local capture does not remove those obligations.
