Compatibility at a glance

Both and System audio require Chrome or Edge. A Zoom web tab with audio is the most reliable source. Desktop app audio depends on operating-system support. Safari and Firefox can record only your microphone.

How to do it

Use the recorder above to capture, review, and save the meeting audio.

    Choose Both in the recorder

    Tell participants, confirm consent, then choose Both to capture your voice and Zoom audio.

  2. 02

    Click Start recording

    Allow microphone access when the browser asks.

  3. 03

    Select the Zoom source

    Choose the Zoom tab or supported system source. Enable Share audio in the picker.

  4. 04

    Record the meeting

    Recording runs once access is granted. Use headphones and keep the recorder and browser share active.

  5. 05

    Stop and review

    Click Stop recording. Review the audio, then download it or continue to transcription.

Record Zoom with this browser tool

Choose Both to mix your microphone with an audible Zoom source. The browser tool creates an audio-only file without joining another participant.

Zoom’s native recording is separate. This page cannot enable Zoom controls or retrieve a Zoom cloud recording.

Share the Zoom web tab when possible. For the desktop Zoom app, choose a supported system source. Availability varies by operating system.

Enable Share audio. Test a short sample before an important meeting and confirm that remote voices are present.
